NRC Inspection Information Request
Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station Follow up Inspection
The following information is being requested under NRC Inspection Procedures 71152
Problem Identification and Resolution. Please submit this information to the NRC no
later than February 26, 2025. If any request below is voluminous or requires excessive
time and resources to compile and transmit, please contact the lead inspector to discuss
potential alternatives.
1.
General
A. Procedures Systematic Approach to Training and Corrective Action
Program
B. Lesson plans and training material for firearms instruction.
C. Trainer / Instructor Certifications and any instructor training records. This should
include NRA and Industry. (not limited to firearm instruction)
D. Training schedule for the week of February 10-14, 2025.
E. PVNGS instructor training procedures.
F. Safety briefing provided on to the cadets prior to the dry fire training
G. Any assessment performed on firearms training and range activities.
H. Any records demonstrating industry operating experience reviewed concerning
firearms (past 1 year).

2. Make the following avalible for onsite review
A. Physical Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, Safeguards Contingency
Plan, and compensatory measures procedures.
B. Please have personnel available for discussions regarding the event that
occurred, and change implemented.
C. Updated condition report CR and training schedule for the new hire class.
D. All changes to the training program because of the incident.
