The Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFRRI), Docket Number 50-170, is submitting this response as required by Order EA-NRR-2025-0013, dated February 6, 2025 and published in the Federal Register on February 12, 2025 (90-9437) related to the implementation of the Non-Power Production or Utilization Facility License Renewal Rule (EPID L-2024-NFC-0000). AFRRI is consenting to the order and acknowledges:
AFRRI License, R-84, Docket 50-170, is effective as of the date of its issuance and has no fixed term.
AFRRI shall file an initial updated Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) no later than January 8, 2027.
The FSAR, as required by 10 CFR 50.71(e)(4)(ii), must reflect all changes made to the FSAR up to a maximum of 6 months prior to the date of filing.
AFRRI shall file subsequent FSAR updates no more than 5 years from the date of the previous submittal.
