Purpose:
The purpose of this presubmittal meeting between Arizona Public Service Company (APS, the licensee) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is to discuss a license amendment request for Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2, and 3, to modify the Technical Specification 5.6.5 list of allowable methodologies to add the Westinghouse Thermal Design Procedure core thermal/hydraulic analysis methodology.
