OF PUBLIC MEETING

On May 16, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) was part of a public meeting with the Connecticut Nuclear Energy Advisory Council (NEAC). During the first part of the meeting, the NRC staff presented the Agencys assessment of the safety performance at Millstone Power Station for the period of January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023, as described in the annual assessment letter dated February 28, 2024.

A copy of the letter can be accessed through the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), Accession Number ML24053A303. Following the presentation, an opportunity was provided to the members of the public and the Connecticut NEAC for questions. The following NRC staff provided presentations and answers to questions during the meeting: Matt Young (Branch Chief, Division of Operating Reactor Safety), Justin Fuller (Senior Resident Inspector, Millstone), Earl Bousquet (Resident Inspector, Millstone),

Dominic Antonangeli (Resident Inspector, Millstone), and Sarah Elkhiamy (Senior Project Engineer, Division of Operating Reactor Safety).
