Hello Mr. Mercer,
I am writing to respectfully inform you that I am opposed to the extended operation of Diablo Canyon because the risks are too high. The plant is old, Unit 1s reactor pressure vessel is embrittled, and the facility is surrounded by a network of active earthquake faults.
As a resident and homeowner in Santa Barbara County, I respectfully request that you take this comment into account as you review PG&Es application.
