REPORT FOR THE REGULATORY AUDIT REGARDING WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC COMPANY LLCS ADVANCED LOGIC SYSTEM VERSION 2 DIGITAL PLATFORM AND DEVELOPMENT PROCESS (CAC/EPID NO.
00431/L-2022-TOP-0059 AND L-2022-TOP-0060)
On December 21, 2022, Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC., (Westinghouse) submitted to the NRC staff, the Topical Reports, Advanced Logic System v2 Platform Topical Report and Advanced Logic System v2 Development Process Topical Report (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML22355A230).
The NRC staff submitted the audit plan to Westinghouse on September 27, 2023 (ML23244A651). The audit was conducted virtually from August 28, 2023, through February 13, 2024, using the Westinghouse electronic reading room. The NRC staff requested this audit as part of its review of the topical reports and development of the safety evaluation report. The purpose of the audit was for the NRC staff to staff gain insight of Westinghouses systems life cycle processes and to identify if additional information required docketing to support the NRC staffs regulatory findings.
