CLINTON POWER STATION, UNIT 1 - RECEIPT AND AVAILABILITY OF THE LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION
Dear Christopher Wilson:
By letter dated February 14, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML24045A024), Constellation Energy Generation, LLC submitted an application for license renewal of Facility Operating License No. NPF-62 for Clinton Power Station (CPS), Unit 1 to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). We are currently performing an acceptance review for docketing in accordance with the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Section 2.101(a)(2) (10 CFR 2.101(a)(2)) and will notify you of the results of our review. Should the NRC staff determine that the application is acceptable for docketing, the NRC staff will issue a schedule for the review, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.102(a).
For your information, we have enclosed a copy of the notice relating to your application that is being sent to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Tyree as the project manager for the safety review, and Ashley Waldron as the project manager for the environmental review of your license renewal application. Please forward copies of all license renewal correspondence to Chris Tyree and Ashley Waldron. Joel Wiebe is responsible for the project management of all issues other than license renewal for Clinton.
