By letter dated April 6, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System
[ADAMS] Accession Number ML23251A205), you submitted an application to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for the review of the Certificate of Competent Authority No.
F/410/B(U)-96 Revision Bi, Model No. MANON. In your application you requested that the NRC provide a recommendation to revalidate the Model No. MANON package.
The staff performed an acceptance review of your application and determined the application contains sufficient technical information in scope and depth to allow the staff to complete a detailed technical review. The review schedule allows for the staff to issue a request for additional information (RAI) in November 2023 and, if a second RAI is not needed, a revalidation recommendation in February 2024, based on you responding to the first RAI in early December 2023. In general, no additional changes to the application should be submitted except for changes resulting from your response to an RAI.
