Dear Commissioners and Staff:
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.71(e), 10 CFR50.54(a)(3), and 10 CFR 50.4(b)(6), Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) hereby submits Diablo *Canyon Power Plant (DCPP) "Updated Final Safety Analysis Report" (UFSAR), Revision 27.
Enclosure 1 contains a summary of changes to the UFSAR resulting from 10 CFR 50.59 evaluations.
Enclosure 2 provides a list of license amendments that resulted in changes incorporated into Revision 27 of the DCPP UFSAR.
Enclosure 3 contains the DCPP UFSAR, Revision 27, including the drawings listed
- on UFSAR Table 1.6-1, on one Digital Versatile Disc (DVD), labeled "Diablo Canyon Power Plant UFSAR, Revision 27 (non-redacted), dated May 2023." The contents are in Adobe Acrobat portable document format. Enclosure 3 contains sensitive information and should be withheld from public disclosure in accordance. with 10 CFR 2.390(d)(1 ).
Enclosure 4 provides a list of the information that has been redacted in accordance with NRC Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2015-17,-"Review and Submission of Updates to Final Safety Analysis Reports, Emergency Preparedness Documents, and Fire Protection Documents."
Enclosure 5 contains one DVD for DCPP UFSAR, Revision 27, with the redacted information identified in Enclosure 4 removed. This DVD is labeled, "Diablo Canyon Power Plant UFSAR, Revision 27 (redacted), dated May 2023."

Guideline 98-03, Revision 1, "Guidelines for Updating Final Safety Analysis Reports." Deletions and additions are identified by revision bars on the right side of the associated pages of the UFSAR.
PG&E makes no new or revised regulatory commitments (as defined by NEI 99-04) in this letter.
