SUMMARY
OF JULY 12, 2023, MEETING WITH FRAMATOME On July 12, 2023, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held a hybrid meeting with Framatome. Framatome had requested this Observation Meeting to discuss their upcoming submittal of two licensing actions: a facility-wide enrichment change to support accident tolerant fuel and a single building enrichment change to support advanced reactor fuel fabrication. The first session of the meeting was open to the public while the second session was closed to the public for discussion of proprietary information. The meeting notice and agenda, dated July 12, 2023, is available in the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML23156A666.
Framatomes presentations (slides) for the open session (ML23248A270) (public) and closed session (ML23202A070) (non-public) are also in ADAMS. The list of attendees and summaries of the open and closed sessions are enclosed.
