Dear Jennifer Wheeler:
This is in response to your May 22, 2023, letter (Agencywide Documents Access and Management Systems (ADAMS) Accession Number ML23142A295) requesting review and approval of the TRISO-X Facility Safeguards Information Plan (SGIP) Revision 3 (ML23142A296). Based upon the staffs review of TRISO-Xs revised SGIP, the NRC staff has determined that TRISO-X continues to provide sufficient assurance that it will protect the SGI entrusted to it in accordance with the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Sections 73.21 and 73.22.
We completed our review of the information provided to this date. Based on our review of that information, the proposed changes are acceptable. This letter closes this action which will be documented in ADAMS.
In accordance with 10 CFR, Section 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding, of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this communication will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room, or from the NRCs ADAMS. The ADAMS database is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
