OF THE JUNE 14, 2023, PUBLIC OUTREACH TO DISCUSS THE NRC 2022 END-OF-CYCLE PLANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF CLINTON POWER STATION, UNIT 1 On June 14, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CDT), an information meeting (open house) with question-and-answer session was held by representatives of the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to provide the public with information on the 2022 end-of-cycle plant performance assessment of Clinton Power Station, Unit 1, along with general information on the NRC. The NRC representatives discussed plant performance with members of the public.
A representative from Constellation Nuclear was also in attendance.
The NRC discussed their assessment of Clintons performance as documented in the March 1, 2023, end-of-cycle assessment letter (ADAMS Accession No. ML23055A166). During the question-and-answer session of the open house, representatives from the NRC discussed various topics of public interest.
