This is a meeting in which attendees will have an opportunity to observe the NRC performing its regulatory function or discussing regulatory issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed following the business portion of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

The purpose of this teleconference meeting between Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy, the licensee) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is to discuss the planned submission of license amendment requests for Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Unit 1, to adopt 10 CFR 50.69, "Risk-informed categorization and treatment of structures, systems and components for nuclear power reactors," and Technical Specifications Task Force (TSTF) Traveler TSTF-505, "Provide Risk-Informed Extended Completion Times -

RITSTF [Risk-Informed TSTF] Initiative 4b."
