Dear Anthony Masters:
Condition 11 of Materials License SNM-2011 requires the Commission to complete an operational readiness and management measures verification review prior to authorizing American Centrifuge Operating, LLC (ACO) to introduce UF6 in any module of the American Centrifuge Plant, including the High Assay, Low Enriched Uranium (HALEU) cascade.
ACO plans to introduce UF6 (feed material) into the HALEU cascade on or after May 22, 2023, and will be prepared by April 3, 2023, to begin the operational readiness and management measures verification review to ensure compliance with the performance requirements of 10 Code of Federal Regulations 70.61 and to confirm that the facility has been constructed and will be operated safely and in accordance with the requirements of the license.
