By letter dated May 4, 2022 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System
[ADAMS] Accession No. ML22203A069), as supplemented on September 6, 2022 (ADAMS Accession No. ML22271A609), the U.S. Department of Transportation submitted the U.K. Certificate of Competent Authority GB/4120/B(U), Revision 0 for the DPR 200 package for recommendation concerning revalidation of the package for import and export use. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff performed an acceptance review of your application and determined it contains sufficient technical information in scope and depth to allow the staff to complete a detailed technical review.
We have established a schedule for the review, which allows for the staff to issue a request for additional information (RAI) in November 2022 and, provided a second RAI is not needed, a certificate in February 2023, based on you responding to the first RAI by December 2022. In general, no additional changes to the application should be submitted except for changes resulting from your response to an RAI.
