INFORMATION MEETING WITH A QUESTION-AND-ANSWER SESSION TO DISCUSS NRC 2021 END-OF-CYCLE PLANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2
Dear Mr. Strope:
This letter is to inform you that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will conduct an information meeting with a question-and-answer session on Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CDT, at the at the Lester Public Library, 1001 Adams Street, Two Rivers, Wisconsin. The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss the performance assessment of Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting. However, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting. NextEra Energy Point Beach is encouraged to participate in this meeting.
