MONTICELLO NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT - WITHDRAWAL OF RELIEF REQUESTS PR-09 AND VR-07 (EPIDS L-2021-LLR-0095 AND L-2022-LLR-0021)
Dear Mr. Domingos:
By letters dated December 23, 2021, and February 18, 2022 (Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession Nos. ML21357A132 and ML22049B323, respectively), you submitted relief requests PR-09 and VR-07 for Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant. Relief request PR-09 proposed an alternative to the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Operation and Maintenance (ASME OM) Code to adopt Code Case OMN-22, Smooth Running Pumps. Relief request VR-07 proposed an alternative to the ASME OM Code to adopt Code Case OMN-26 Alternate Risk-Informed and Margin Based Rules for lnservice Testing of Motor Operated Valves [MOVs]. Subsequently, by letter dated April 18, 2022 (ADAMS Accession No. ML22109A133) you withdrew both relief requests.
The purpose of this letter is to advise that the above-cited relief requests are being treated as withdrawn. Review of both applications have ceased and EPIDs L-2021-LLR-0095 and L-2022-LLR-0021 are closed.
