November 16, 2021 Nishka Devaser NRC Project Manager NMSS/DSFM/SFLB Office: (301) 415-5196 We have received notice that the RMSC SAR review will be delayed for possibly a minimum of 3 months. As you know, the RMSC was developed to replace the Croft container which we have used for years to transport bulk source material from reactors to our facilities to manufacture encapsulated sources for our customers. Providing radiographic sources to our customers is our primary source of income. INC has been unable to ship material from the reactors since the Croft container became unavailable, until one of our competitors recently loaned us two transport containers. Aside from this instance of kindness from a competitor, there is no other bulk transport container available that we can use. The lack of available bulk material drums has affected our material supply and our business has come to a halt. If the review is not completed, Industrial Nuclear Company may be forced out of business and the doors will likely close by the end of the 2021. I find it a problem that HISTORE CISF is getting a high priority while a small business is getting pushed back. The SAR review has cost our company over $130,000 so far. If we are delayed any longer, the cost to Industrial Nuclear Company could be over $180,000 for material we are required to pay for that the reactor will not be able to ship to us. This will likely result in INCs closing. We are asking for you to please reconsider delaying our review and making it a priority so we can keep Industrial Nuclear company operational.

We are grateful for your immediate consideration of this request and for your agreement to this request.

Respectfully submitted, Charles Bollinger Chief Operating Officer/RSO Industrial Nuclear Company 510-352-6767 charlesb@ir100.com
