This is a meeting in which attendees will have an opportunity to observe the NRC performing its regulatory function or discussing regulatory issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed following the business portion of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

This is a public meeting between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Entergy Operations, Inc., to discuss the results of the NRCs Inspection Procedure 95002, "Supplemental Inspection Response to Action Matrix Column 3 (Degraded Performance)

Inputs, conducted at Grand Gulf Nuclear Station between August 23 and September 17, 2021. The supplemental inspection was performed as the result of one Yellow Performance Indicator (PI) in the Initiating Events Cornerstone of the NRCs Action Matrix.

This regulatory performance meeting will discuss the performance deficiencies and proposed corrective actions associated with the Yellow Performance Indicator. Following the meeting with Entergy, the NRC will respond to public questions on specific performance issues at the plant and the agencys role in ensuring safe plant operations.
