APPLICATION FOR THE MODEL NO. MIDUS TRANSPORT PACKAGE -
ACCEPTED FOR REVIEW (EPID NUMBERS L-2021-LLA-0090 and L-2021-RNW-0007)
Dear Mr. Gelfond:
By letter dated May 26, 2021 [Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) No. ML21147A125], EnergySolutions submitted an application for approval of Certificate of Compliance No. 9320, for the Model No. MIDUS transport package. The applicant requested to change the address in the certificate and renew the certificate. The applicant did not proposed changes to the package design.
The staff performed an acceptance review of your application to determine if the application contains sufficient technical information in scope and depth to allow the staff to complete a detailed technical review. We have established a schedule for the review. The schedule allows for the staff to complete the technical review and issue a certificate of compliance in early June 2021. In general, no additional changes to the application should be submitted except for changes resulting from your response to an RAI.
