Dear Sir or Madam:
With the referenced letter, Vistra Operations Company LLC (Vistra OpCo) submitted License Amendment Request 20-004 to revise certain Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant (CPNPP) Emergency Action Levels (EALs). The referenced letter requested approval of the license amendment by June 24, 2021, with and implementation period to be within 180 days of the issuance of the license amendment.
Vistra OpCo hereby requests the implementation date for the license amendment be set to January 27, 2022. The revised implementation date will better provide CPNPP the opportunity to schedule and complete updates of implementing procedures, training on the revised procedures, and will allow for due consideration of site refueling outage and training cycles.
This communication contains no new commitments regarding CPNPP Unit 1 or Unit 2.
