In Reference 2 NextEra requested a limited exemption 1

from the single failure criterion in support of Reference 1. In Reference 3 1 the NRC provided that the exemption request would be placed on hold pending resolution of other matters related to the GL 2004-02 closeout.

Presently NextEra is considering alternative approaches to GL 2004-02 closure and as such NextEra 1 1 hereby withdraws the exemption request of Reference 2.
