POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNIT NOS. 1 and 2 - WITHDRAWAL OF AN EXEMPTION REQUEST SUPPORTING UPDATED FINAL RESPONSE TO NRC GENERIC LETTER 2004-02 (EPID L-2018-LLE-0014)
Dear Mr. Moul:
By letter dated August 30, 2018 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML18242A606), you applied for an exemption to the Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 (Point Beach), Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-24 and DPR-27. The proposed request would have exempted Point Beach from the single failure criterion in Point Beach site-specific General Design Criterion 41, Engineered Safety Features Performance Capability, applicable to Region II loss-of coolant accident break sizes.
Subsequently, by letter dated February 11, 2021 (ADAMS Accession No. ML21042A002), you withdrew the exemption request.
The purpose of this letter is to advise you that the above-cited application is being treated as withdrawn, and EPID L-2018-LLE-0014 is closed.
