FERMI 2 - CORRECTION TO AMENDMENT NO. 216 RE: REVISION TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS IN RESPONSE TO GE ENERGY-NUCLEARS 10 CFR PART 21 SAFETY COMMUNICATION SC05-03 (EPID L-2019-LLA-0200)
Dear Mr. Dietrich:
On October 5, 2020, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Amendment No. 216 to Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-43 for Fermi 2 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML20233A838). The amendment revised technical specification (TS) requirements in response to your application dated September 5, 2019 (ADAMS Accession No. ML19248C571).
Subsequent to issuance of the amendment, it was noticed that TS page 2.0-1 inserted in the October 5, 2020, amendment was not correct as it was not based on the previous latest update of the TS. Enclosed with this letter is the corrected TS page 2.0-1 with which we ask you to replace the previously issued TS page 2.0-1 for Amendment No. 216. We regret any inconvenience caused by this correction.
The NRC concludes that this correction is entirely editorial in nature and does not change the staffs conclusion in the safety evaluation for Amendment No. 216, nor does it affect the no significant hazard consideration, as published in the Federal Register on December 3, 2019 (84 FR 66227).
