- Carl, As you may know, commissioner Diaz has.already received confirmation from representatives of the nuclear regulatory organizations of Mexico and spain that they,. and 2 of their staffs, will be joining us at NRC as observers for the salem NPP emergency planning exercise. We expect to be hearing from Commissioners from Argentina and Brazil by the end of this week.
(The Commissioners will'be observing from headquarters while their respective staffs will be at the Region and the site.)-
As is customary, Commissioner Diaz would like to host them for lunch and for IP to please arrange for the funding, catering, etc.
We expect the foreign Commissioners to be in attendance, along with you, the'EDO, Tim Martin, and either Sam Collins or Hugh (or whoever you sugest).
Please have your staff contact Vicki Bolling of ours to follow-up on this.
