As you know, following my trip to Brazil I explored with NRC's AEOD staff the possibility '
of having staff from Brazil's Comisseo Nacional de Energia Nuclear (CNEN) attend one of our emergency preparedness mock exercises. This is to let you know that the staff has been receptive and the Brazilians would like.to attend (at their own expense) ene of the drills in 1998.
As soon as the AEOD schedule for the 1998 exercises is drafted, I will be sending it to --
the CNEN. Our respectwe staffs can then make mutually agreeable arrangements.
