This letter is being submitted in response to the referenced telephone conference of December, 1988. As discussed in the telephone conference, South Carolina-Electric & Gas (SCE&G) agreed to amend the previous submitted change to Technical Specification 3.8.1.2, Electric Power Systems, A. C. Sources, as recommended by Mr. J. J. Lazevnick.
Surveillance Requirement 4.8.1.2 has.been amended deleting "or-verification".
In addition.the notation allowing the ESF Load Sequencer to be de-energized in Modes 5 and 6 has been amended as recommended requiring the " loss of voltage and degraded voltage relays" to be disabled.
This proposed Technical Specification amendment has been reviewed and approved by'both the Plant Safety Review Committee and the Nuclear Safety Review Committee..
