The source consists of a stainless steel bar with a 1/8" slot milled 0.2" deep. l The slot is covered' with a 0.001" stainless steel window sealed by gold brazing.

The source is filled through a 1/16" copper tube silver brazed through a hole in the back of the source. This tube is crimped and silver brazed after filling. The active dimensions of the source are 1.5" by 1/8". The overall dimensions are 3.37" long, 0.38" wide and 0.3" deep. Flanges 1/2" long on each end provide for mounting '

the source. Each flange has a #24 (0.152) hole; the holes are 3" apart center-to-center. i LABELING:

QUALITY ASSURANCE AND CONTROL:

Each source is subjected to a pressure test (minimum of 3 ',imes filling pressure) prior to filling.
