. DOCUMENTATION REVIEW - POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 (TAC NOS. 68586 AND 68587)

This' letter is to confirm the dates of August 15-18, 1989 for a review of the backup documentation supporting your response to the Station Blackout Rule for the Point Beach Nuclear Plant (P8NP), Units 1 and 2. Mr. Argil L. Toalston of the Electrical Systems Branch, NRR, will be the team leader.-

. As discussed with your staff, the review will be conducted at your corporate headquarters'in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The review will start at 9:00 a.m. on August 15, 1989.and end at approximately noon on August 18, 1969. The team would prefer to visit the PBNP site on August 17, 1989.

We expect the te.am primarily to use the NUMARC-8700 guidelines in evaluating your station blackout assessment. Thus, it would be most helpful if your staff were prepared to discuss your April 17, 1989 submittal while providing documentation for further NRC staff review of your calculations and assessment.
