COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION (CPSES)

DOCKET NO. 50-445 CASE DOCUMENTED REQUEST FOR ACTION REGARDING CPSES UNIT 1 1982 REACTOR COOLANT SYSTEM COLD HYDROSTATIC TEST

Dear Sir:

As you are aware, CASE has formally transmitted to the NRC its Documented l

Request for Action on the Unit 1, 1982, Reactor Coolant System Cold Hydrostatic Test. CASE indicates in its March 13, 1989, cover letter that a part of the basis for this request is the Quality Technology Company (QTC)

Report, " Evaluation of the Texas Utilities Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station Reactor Coolant System Primary Cold Hydrostatic Test," and that this report will be transmitted under separate cover.

In accordance with the Joint Stipulation, Section B.4, TV Electric is required to submit to CASE and the NRC Staff its response, if any, within twenty-one (21) days after receipt of CASE's Request for Action.

However, because the QTC Report was issued separately from the Documented Request for Action, CASE and TV Electric have agreed that the TV Electric response to this Request for Action would be due to CASE and the NRC within 21 days after receipt of said report.
