MAINE YANKEE PROPOSED IST PROGRAM (TAC 49711 & 66891)
By letter dated April 3,1989, we issued Generic Letter No. 89 04, " Guidance On Developing Acceptable Inservice Testing Programs." Generic Letter No. 89 04 approves your currently submitted IST program relief requests provided that you (1) review your most recently submitted IST program and implementation rocedures against the positions delineated in Attachment 1 of the. letter and p(2) within 6 months of the date of this letter confirm in writing your conformance with the stated positions.
Your most recently submitted set of IST program relief requests, which includes and supersedes previous Maine Yankee IST program relief requests, is contained in your letter to the staff dated February 23, 1983, (TAC 49711).
Further relief requests were transmitted by letter dated December. 28, 1987.
Based on approval of your IST program relief requests, consistent with requirements of Generic Letter No. 89-04, we have discontinued review of your IST program. This completes action under TACS 49711 and 66891.
Af ter you have responded to Generic Letter No 89 04 you may find that you no longer require the requested Technical Specifications changes dealing with IST.
