ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT (TAC NO. 72625)

The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.31 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-21 for Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1, in response to your application dated January 24, 1989.

The amendment revises the Technical Specifications (TS) by clarifying emergency core cooling system availability and power supply requirements and by deleting' references to TS sections which were deleted in a previous-amendment.

A copy of the related Safety Evaluation-is also enclosed. The notice of issuance will be included in the Commission's bi-weekly Federal Register notice.
