YANKEE NUCLEAR POWER STATION ECCS EVALUATION MODEL (TAC 66993)
By letter dated January 5,1988 and supplemented on May 2,1989, Yankee Atomic Electric Company (YAEC) proposed revisions to the ECCS evaluation model for the Yankee Nuclear Power Station. Revisions were made to the FLECHT-based reflood heat transfer model, the steam cooling model, and the post-CHF heat transfer model. As discussed in the enclosed evaluation report, we find that the revisions meet the requirements of Appendix K to 10 CFR 50 and are acceptable.
This completes action on our TAC No. 66993.
