This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. R. C. Stewart of this office

during the period July 24-28, 1989, of activities authorized by NRC Operating
License DPR-40 for Fort Calhoun, and to the discussion of.our findings with
Mr. A. W. Richard and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection.
Areas excmined during the inspection included followup to NRC Bulletin 87-02
and the review of procedures and controls established to assure implementation
of 10 CFR Part 21 requirements. Within these areas, the inspection' consisted
of selective examination of procedures and representative records, interviews
y
with. personnel, and observations by the inspector. The inspection findings are
documented in.the enclosed inspection report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.
