TIA RECIRCULATION PIPING WELD CRACK RELOAD 7 OUTAGE -
BRUNSWICK STEAM ELECTRIC PLAhT, UNIT 2 (TAC N0 66977)
By memorandum dated January 22, 1988-(S. Varga to L. Shao and A. Gibson),
division of.the responsibilities on the above subject were set forth. The TIA was set up because the licensee found a 4.8 inch long, 85% through the wall crack in the bottom of one of the safe-end nozzle welds.
By letter dated April 25, 1989, the staff forwarded its final Safety Evaluation on the Intergranular Stress Corrosion Cracking (IGSCC) efforts associated with the Unit 2, Reload 7 Outage. Thus, the above subject and associated TAC is considered complete with a closecut date of April 25, 1989.
