Specifically, you propose to perform the:
Cold-Shutdown Demonstration:in conjunction with a mid-cycle outage planned.for

The.NRC staff-findsLyour proposal ~ acceptable.for the following. reasons:

' fully completed. The~ NRC observed the test and noted excellent crew and
- equipment performance and good procedural' support.
- BECo'sTPhase One test went beyond the_ Hot Shutdown Demonstration of'Regu-12 '.
'latory Guide 1.68.2,'in that BECo initiated and conducted a controlled-cooldown during their test. This'provides additional' demonstration of-SDOCR capabilities at PNPS,

The NRC staff;has reviewed the overall scope of the PNPS PAP and, taking into account deferral of the SDOCR Cold Shutdown Demonstration, finds it
