0FFICE CONCURRENCE: FINAL RULE REVISING FLOW CONTROL CONDITIONS FOR THE STANDBY LIQUID CONTROL SYSTEM IN BOILING WATER REACTORS The Office of Administration has reviewed and concurs in the final rule revising Part 50. Our concurrence is subject to the modifications descr: bed in this memorandum and marked on the enclosed copy.

In the preamble portion of this rule, we have inserted a "For further Information Contact" statement. Your office must identify, by name, address, and telephone number, a knowledgeable person to serve as a point of contact for this action and include the appropriate information in this statement. This statement is necessary to meet the format requirements of the Office of the FederalRegister(1CFR18.12).

We have included the currently effective authority citation for Part 50 as part of the mark-up. The authority citation has been substantially revised since the publication of the proposed rule. Note that the amendatory instruction regarding th? authority citation will not change.

We have provided the Records and Reports fianagement Branch, IRM, a copy of this final rule to review for compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act. You should c.cnsult Brenda Shelton (28132) to ensure that the statement on information collection requirements is appropriate. <
