CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION FOR AMENDMENT REQUEST DATED MARCH 30, 1989 l By letter dated March 30, 1989, ANF requested an amendment to License No.

SNM-1227 to change the possession limits, record the latest revision to the l

l Radiological Contingency Plan, and reference the letter of financial assurance  ;

for decommissioning funding to 10 CFR 70.25. The change in possession limits j is requested to agree with the safeguards plan. The contingency plan was revised to include chemical emergencies and reflect the name change; the I revisions do not decrease the Plan's effectiveness. The financial assurance  !

revision is not being incorporated into the license. These changes are administrative and will have no effect on the public health and safety or the environment. Accordingly, pursuant to 10 CFR 51.22(c)(11), neither an Environ.

mental Assessment nor an Environmental Impact Statement is warranted for the proposed action.
