Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station Docket No. 50/395 Operating License N0. NPF-12 Request for Relief-Technical Specification 3.6.4
Dear Mr. Ebneter:
On May'1, 1939, South Carolina Electric & Gas Company (SCE&G) submitted a request for Enforcement Discretion in regard'to Technical Specification 3.6.4,
" Containment isolation Valves." The purpose of the request was to provide relief from the applicable action statement in order to allow for the repair of an Inoperable Containment Isolation Valve (XVT-8880-SI, " Accumulator Inlet NitrogenSupplyvalve"). This-letter is to withdraw this request of May 1, 1989, in that the valve ha$ been repaired during an unplanned plant outage.
SCE&G wishes to express appreciation to the NRC staff for its consideration of this item.
