Gentlemen:
This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Messrs.
T. M. Tongue, T. E. Taylor, G. A. VanSickle, and Ns. D. Calhoun of this
office from June 18 through July 29, 1969, of activities at the Braidwood
Station, Units 1 and 2, authorized by NRC Operating License No. NPF-72 and
No. NPF-77, and to the discussion of our findings with Mr. R. E. Querio
and others of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during
i
the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective
examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and
interviews with personnel.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the course of this
intpection.
