The week of April 6 - 9, 1987, the NRC administered examinations to employees

of your company who had applied for licenses to operate your Nine Mile Point

Unit One Station. At the conclusion of the examination, the examination

questions and preliminary findings were discussed with those members of your

staff identified in the enclosed report.
Your attention is directed to the final examination results where three of the
four candidates demonstrated unsatisfactory performances.
