Pursuant to Section 50.90 of the regulations of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the New York Power Authority, as holder of Facility Operating License No. DPR-59, hereby applies for an Amendment to the Technical Specifications contained in ApperAix A of this license.
This application for an amendment to the James A.
l FitzPatrick Technical Specifications proposes changes to Table 3.2-6,
" Surveillance Instrumentation," on page 76a.
These changes update the suppression chamber water temperature instrumentation to reflect modifications installed to meet Regulatory Guide 1.97.
The proposed changes to the Technical Specifications are Attachment I to this Application for Amendment to the Operating License.
The Safety Evaluation for the proposed changes is included as Attachment II.
