We' have receiv'ed your-letter dated March 27, 1989, which transmitted your.
. proposed objectives for the Clinton Power Station's annual-exercise scheduled for June 28,-1989. Based on our review of this submittal, and a discussion with Mr. W. Yarosz of. your staff on April 3,1989, we have determined that these objectives are acceptable.
Regarding 0bjective No. -6,. Mr. Yarosz indicated'that the evacuation of assembled nonessential onsite' personnel will.
be simulated. We also understand that assembly of onsite personnel.during the exercise will not be utilized to satisfy a periodic drill. requirement.
Mr. Yarosz was informed of the approximate size 'of the inspection team-for ethis exercise so that your staff could plan on submitting a separate scenario
. manual for-each inspection team member's' review and comment.
