1 In our response dated January 3, 1979 to your letter of November 28, 1978, regarding Containment purging during normal Plant operation, we committed to provide responses to two items by April 1,1979.
These two items were positions 1.g and 5.b of Branch Technical Position CSB 6-4.

Although we have completed the analyses required by these two items of the Branch Technical Position, <e have not completely assessed .
the results nor determined the corrective action necessary. We there- f fore cannot meet the previously committed-to-date of April 1. We .!
would propose a 60-day extension, until June 1, 1979, to provide this -l information. ;
i As stated in our letter of January 3, we are limiting our purges of the Containment to less than 90 hr per year. We have restricted purging l to those occasions when it is only felt to be necessary for personnel '!
