Huntersville NC .28078-8985 SU3 JECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-369/98-11 AND 50-370/98-11 Dear.Mr.-Barron: - This refers to the inspection conducted on June 1-26. and August 5-7. 1998, at the McGuire facility. The purpose of the inspection was to review the - facility's program for surveillance testing, corrective action and- - modifications for the ice condensers. The enclosed report represents the results of this inspection. The NRC concluded that the overall material condition of the Unit 1 ice condenser-system indicated that current operation, maintenance. and engineering support practices to maintain operability of the system were acceptable. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice." a co)y of this letter and its enclosures will.be'placed in the NRC Public Document Room- (PDR).
