License Amendment Application to Revise Technical Specification 4.0.3 and Associated Bases Section 4.0.3 (TAC No. 66008)

Enclosed is an application for an amendment to Facility Operating License No.- NPF-3 for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1.
This application requests that the Davis-Fesse Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1 Operating License, Appendix A Technical Specifications, be revised to reflect the changes attached. The proposed changes involve revising Technical Specification 4.0.3 and Eases Section 4.0.3 in accordance with NRC Generic Letter 87-09 to include a spe:ific, acceptable time limit of 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> to complete an. inadvertently missed surveillance before the provisions of the Action Requirements apply.
The proposed changes are consistent with the guidance provided in NRC Generic Letter 87-09.
Therefore. Toledo Edison requests that this amendment be expeditiously approved.
Enclosed is a check for $150 as required by 10CFR170.12(c) for a license amendment application.
