DPR-71 & DPR-62 SUPPLEMENT TO REQUEST FOR LICENSE AMENDMENT FUEL ASSEMBLY / FUEL STORAGE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Gentlemen:
On June 12,1987, Carolina Power & Light Company submitted a proposed Technical Specification change request relating to fuel assembly descriptions and storage. Based on recent conversations with members of your staff, Specification 5.3.1 has been revised to reference the specific General Electric fuel types that may be used in the Brunswick Plant core. Enclosed is a copy of the revised Technical Specification pages. The Company will submit additional information relating to the significant hazards analysis under separate cover af ter completing further discussions with your staff.
