ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT (TAC'NO. 66497)
The Comission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.13 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-21 for the Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1.
This i
amendnent is in response to your application dated October 20, 1987, This amendment revises the Technical Specifications to reflect the removal of low reactor pressure switches PS-263-54 A and B from the emergency core cooling system (core spray and low pressure coolant injection) pump start logic.
These switches were removed during the 1987 refueling outage. A Temporary Waiver of Compliance was-issued on October 21, 1987, until December 21, 1987, to allow continued plant operation pending issuance of this amendnent.
A copy of..our related Safety Evaluation is enclosed. A Notice of Issuance will appear in the Consnission's biweekly Federal Register notice.
