MINUTES OF MARCH 26, 1987 MEETING TO DISCUSS THE SECUOYAH DIESEL GENERATOR SE0VENCING CALCULATIONS On March 26, 1987 members of the staff met with representatives of the l
d Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). The purpose of the meeting was to discuss -
the diesel generator load secuencing calculations that are presently ongoing for Sequoyah. Enclosure 1 is a list of, attendees.
The discussions held at the meeting mainly centered around questions the staff had on the calculations.
In response to these staff questions TVA provided a copy of Revision 5 of the calculations along with the Engineering Change Notification (ECN). A copy of this information is contained in Enclosure 2.
As a result of the meeting, the staff will continue its review of this area using the information contained in Enclosure-2..
Several agreements were reached between TVA and the staff where TVA would undertake some additional actions. These are:
(1) Continue to pursue a revision to Technical Specifications, and supporting bases, for diesel generator testing; to be submitted by September 30, 1987 (2) Timely submittal before Unit i restart, provide the excess voltage drop calculations for Unit 1; (3) Remove all unverified assumptions from the calculations; and (4) In the future, notify the staff of all revisions to the calculations and submit any revisions that change the conclusions, j
