DOCKET NO. 50-325 AND 50-324 This refers to the meeting conducted at your request in the Region II Of fice on August 4, 1987, to discuss primarily the recent study performed to determine the reliability of both the Reactor Core Isolation Cooling (RCIC) and High Pressure Coolant Injection (HPCI) systems; but also the scram avoidance strategy at Brunswick, valve improvement init atives, and Brunswick transient responses.
It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial and has provided a better understanding of Brunswick performance.
